Dr D asked: I have a Citizen hand-watch which does not recognize when a month has less than 31 days. Just today (October 1) I had to change it manually from 31 to 1. Digital watches have no such problem.
Do Rolex watches experience the same problem?
Specifically I’m referring to the Oyster Perpetual Day Date watch.

Mario asked:
Why do they go to art exhibitions, saying that everything is very interesting and they act like they’re the intelectual type? Why do they spend in horrendous and awful paintings or “art” pieces that 4-year-olds can make? Why do they buy amazingly expensive clothes? Why do they buy stupid things like the window from where they shot John F. Kennedy? Why do they buy land from the moon? Why do they go to book readings they don’t understand? Why do they buy really expensive watches, shoes… I mean… Why can’t they spend that part of their wealth on helping sick or poor people? On putting up some businesses to help somebody? Why don’t you give me a part of your fortune? That’d be nice!!! =D Are your rich? Do you do this things? Thanks!!!!!
Ok ok, I guess I asked wrong… I meant to ask “whay SOME rich people do this kind of stuff”… ’cause I know rich people who don’t do all this things… my mistake, sorry!!!!

I have a lg pictus cat and a lg. Pleco, also an oscar, but I think I am going to get rid of her. Money is not an issue, but not crazy expensive. Aggressive fish might be nice, but I like the cat and pleco. Fish that love to eat, and are fun to watch. very active

emmaclj asked: I have a Cartier watch and the battery has gone.
Cartier will not replace it as I no longer have all the paperwork that came with it originally.
I’ve been to a few jewellers and they won’t touch it because they don’t want to risk it!
Do you have any ideas where I can get it done?
I live in London.
Thanks
If you read the question, it says Cartier will not replace it as I no longer have the paperwork.

Daniel C asked: I can’t afford a $5,000 Rolex, but if I were to lease one, I would imagine that the payments would be pretty cheap, maybe less than $100 a month.
I have heard that people can lease watches similar to the way they lease cars. Has anybody ever done this and do you know of any companies that do it?

I have been offered a Rolex but I want to know if it’s real. Short of bringing it to a jeweler, what can I look for?

Bill asked: I have a watch with a leather band. It’s not a particularly expensive watch, it’s a $100 Kenneth Cole, but my wrist lays right about in between two holes where one is too loose and the other is a tad too tight. So, I figured in order to make it fit right I could either stretch or shrink the leather band just slightly to suit my wrist size.
What is the easiest way to do this without damaging anything?
